Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?

A: French Club, NHS, English NHS, and Vice President of French NHS.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming

Court?

A: I wasn’t surprised because I knew my friends wanted Dennis and I to be on again.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?

A: I was surprised that so many people actually voted for Dennis and I.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?

A: My friends and family were excited but my mom felt bad for Dennis, (again).

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?

A: Because my friends got people to vote for us.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?

Q: What do you plan to wear to homecoming? What do you plan to wear to the pep

assembly?

A: A dress and a different dress.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?

A: Get ready with pals, go to pictures and dinner, then go to actual Hoco.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!

A: Getting ready and pictures are the most fun.

Q: What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in front of a crowd?

A: Once at my work training thing, I passed out and my coworkers had to catch me because I almost fell into the pool.

Q: Do you have a date? If so, who is the lucky guy/girl? If not, are you going with a

group?

A: No, I’m going with a group.

Q: What’s your best homecoming (or other dance) memory? If you’ve never been to homecoming, are you excited to go this year?

A: I don’t really have a best memory. Last year was kind of traumatic but all the other ones were good.

 

Dennis Kim

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?

A: Spanish NHS, RHS boy’s swim, Model UN, NHS.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming

Court?

A: I was confused but not surprised.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?

A: I felt excited but also nervous.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?

A: They were both happy and excited for me.

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?

A: Because it happened during sophomore year and I guess they wanted me on it again.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?

A: I appreciate them for allowing me to be one of the people who represent their grade.

Q: What do you plan to wear to homecoming? What do you plan to wear to the pep

assembly?

A: For homecoming, I am wearing a black tux and a black bow tie. For the pep assembly, I am going to wear whatever outfit is designated for that day. (Probably blue-out).

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?

A: Take pictures, go to a restaurant, go to the dance.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!

A: I like going to the game and the dance. It’s fun to watch the big game before the day of homecoming while talking to friends and the dance is always exciting since it’s what everything leads to.

Q: What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in front of a crowd?

A: Lip sync my junior year when the music didn’t play for 5 minutes.

Q: Do you have a date? If so, who is the lucky guy/girl? If not, are you going with a

group?

A: Yes, I am going with Grace Forlines but I am going with a group as well.

Q: What’s your best homecoming (or other dance) memory? If you’ve never been to homecoming, are you excited to go this year?

A: My best homecoming memory is homecoming junior year when I screamed the lyrics of “2 Phones.”

 

Karlyn Kelley

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?

A: Varsity cheer-2 years (Captain), varsity softball-4 years, STUGO-4 years (senior class president), SNHS-3 years.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming

Court?

A: I was super excited!

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?

A: I was even more excited! I was very happy Marty made it on as well!

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?

A: My mom was most excited of all!

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?

A: I have friends from multiple “friend groups” and I try to be friendly to everyone.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?

A: Thank you 🙂 It means a lot to know people think highly enough of me to vote me on!

assembly?

A: A purple gown to the assembly and a black and white dress with cutouts to the dance.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?

A: To be honest, I’m not sure! For sure go to the park for pictures.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!

A: Spirit days! I find it so exciting to get dressed up to go to school.

Q: What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in front of a crowd?

A: At a football game, I was doing my running tumbling and I landed on my knees in front of the SOF 🙁

A: Marty O’Neill.

Q: What’s your best homecoming (or other dance) memory? If you’ve never been to homecoming, are you excited to go this year?

A: Junior year when Marty asked me to homecoming. He got up into a stunt with the help of the cheer team and surprised me.

A: Super excited.

A: Out of this world.

A: They were very happy for me.

A: Because people like my girlfriend.

A: Suit to match my girlfriend to hoco and a black and blue tux to the pep assembly.

A: Pictures at the park and dinner with our group.

A: I like the spirit days the best because I am a very spirited person to say the least.

A: I threw up after a ride at Cedar Point. FYI that never happens.

A: Yes I have a date, it is my girlfriend Karlyn Kelley.

A: Last year’s homecoming with Karlyn.

A: Track and Field and German club.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming

Court?

A: When I found out, I was excited and thought it was pretty cool to even be nominated.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?

A: When they told me I made it the final round I was extremely smiley and that soon turned into me being very nervous.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?

A: My sister was homecoming queen when she was here so when my 11 year old brother found out he immediately said, “Great! Now I have to be king! ‘Cause she’s gonna win and you can’t have two queens and no king.”

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?

A: Honestly I think I was voted because most of my friends have planned on it ever since my sister, Brandi Mattson won.

Q: What do you plan to wear to homecoming? What do you plan to wear to the pep

assembly?

A: To homecoming I plan on wearing a very simple yellow dress and for the pep assembly I plan on wearing a strapless gray dress and grey Converse.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?

A: The day of homecoming I plan on getting my hair done, doing my own makeup and going with my boyfriend, Tyler Frankhouse to McDonald’s for dinner then to the dance.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!

A: I love spirit week it’s a time for people to get creative with what they wear and have fun with it and just go crazy.

Q: What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in front of a crowd?

A: My first grade teacher wouldn’t let me go to the bathroom, so I peed my pants and she then decided to ask me why I was walking weird.

group?

A: I do have a date and plan on going with Tyler Frankhouse.

Q: What’s your best homecoming (or other dance) memory? If you’ve never been to homecoming, are you excited to go this year?

A: My best homecoming memory was probably during junior year being my first dance with Tyler and slow dancing with him.

 

Alex Lee

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?

A: National Honor Society, National Social Studies Honor Society, French National Honor Society, French club, green club, BPA, HOSA, [and] varsity swim team.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming

Court?

A: I was very surprised and taken aback.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?

A: I as very confused and more surprised than when I found out I was in the running for homecoming court.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?

A: They were also surprised and even excited.

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?

A: I have no idea.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?

A: I would like to thank everyone for giving me an opportunity to be on homecoming court with Dellie.

Q: What do you plan to wear to homecoming? What do you plan to wear to the pep

assembly?

A: I plan on wearing a suit to both the homecoming game and the pep assembly.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?

A: I plan on going out for dinner with a group of friends and take pictures at the Rochester duck pond, which is where seniors traditionally take pictures.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!

A: Spirit days because it makes the school feel like a unified community and it also spreads good vibes throughout the week leading up to homecoming.

Q: What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in front of a crowd?

A: When I tripped and fell into a trash can in AP Lang.

group?

A: Not yet, but I am planning on asking someone; I am going in a group.

A: My best homecoming memory is when Dennis Kim went crazy at homecoming our junior year.

 

 

Mireia Jimeriez-Pinilla

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?

A: I’m in the varsity lacrosse team, on the musical and RATS, (theater club), and I just started on the green club this year.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming

Court?

A: I was really excited because when I was little I loved the movie “High School Musical,” so when I moved here I wanted to have the whole “high school experience.”

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?

A: I was really happy and excited.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?

A: They were really excited for me and asked me questions.

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?

A: Because my friends wanted me to have the whole high school experience.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?

A: Thank you so much, I will never forget this!!!

A: To homecoming I’ll wear a black long dress with a sparkling necklace and the assembly a blue long dress.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?

A: I’m going with my date Sam Schroeder to the Oakland Mansion to take pictures and then dinner along with my group of friends and of course, after dinner, the dance.

A: I like all of it because all the spirit, all the fun.

Q: What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in front of a crowd?

A: The most embarrassing thing was almost falling on the stairs going down for lunch and the food fell everywhere.

group?

A: Yes I do! His name is Sam Schroeder he is on homecoming court too! He asked me a couple days later of writing this down, so he didn’t put my name as his date, haha!

A: The best memory is having fun with all my friends and the previous dates and also taking pictures and getting ready!!

A: People probably confused me with someone else.

A: Appreciate it, but bad choice.
