Maria Broecker, Opinion Editor
Maria Broecker is a senior in her second year on The Talon staff, serving as the Opinion. She won an Excellence Award for Opinion Coverage at the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association summer journalism workshop and an Honorable Mention for her feature story on visible thinking routines. Maria plays on the varsity soccer team and is on National Honor Society. She hopes to continue her career in journalism by majoring in it in college.
