The girls basketball team finished their season with a 4-16 record. With only three seniors leading the team, the group had much to work on.

“I thought our outcome could’ve been a little better, but for a young team I think we did well,” sophomore Samantha Thiessen said. “I’m looking forward to next year, because our team will be a lot closer and more developed.”

Despite the obstacles, the team managed to pull through and make the season memorable.

“The most enjoyable part of the season was watching our team finally come together and start to play as a team at the end of our season and have fun finally,” Thiessen said. “Throughout our season there were many ups and downs, but by the end of the season we managed to stay and end on an up, which made it so much better.”

The team’s passion was their driving force throughout the season.

“As a team we had some conflicting personalities, but once we got on the court all our conflicts went away, because we all had one thing in common and that was the love for basketball,” Thiessen said.
