Name: Erika Bradlee, 9th

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?
A: I am a cheerleader.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming court?
A: I was super excited.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?
A: Again, I was super excited.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?
A: My friends and family congratulated me and were excited as well.

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?
A: I’m not sure.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?
A: Thank you because I didn’t expect it at all.

Q: What do you plan to wear to the homecoming pep assembly?
A: I think you’re supposed to wear your dress?

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?
A: I am planning to get my hair done and do my makeup.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!
A: Pep assembly because I am a cheerleader so it’s super fun to cheer and show everyone things.

Q: What’s your favorite song to dance to?
A: “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith

Q: Do you have a date? If so, who is the lucky guy/girl? If not, are you going with a group?
A: Yes, his name is Ryan Hart.

Q: What’s your best homecoming (or other dance) memory?
A: When my friends and I went to the dance together.

Q: What’s the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in front of a crowd?
A: I tripped.

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?
A: I’m on Rochester’s student council and the varsity dance team.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming court?
A: Surprised

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?
A: Shocked

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?
A: My friends were proud of me and my family was happy for me.

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?
A: Many people tell me I’m very genuine.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?
A: Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Q: What do you plan to wear to the homecoming pep assembly?
A: Umm … I think my hoco court dress.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?
A: Get ready and hang out with my friends.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!
A: I would say getting ready because I love getting dressed up.

A: “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift

A: I don’t have a date.

A: This is my first year.

Q: What’s the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in front of a crowd?
A: Probably singing and dancing to “Jingle Bells” in front of a group of my peers.

Q: What activities/sports/clubs do you participate in at RHS?
A: I will be participating in baseball.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you were in the running for homecoming court?
A: I felt a little nervous when I found out I was in the running, but I did not think I would get on.

Q: How did you feel when you found out you made it on court?
A: I felt shocked; I did not expect to be voted onto homecoming court.

Q: How did your friends and family members respond?
A: My friends and family were very surprised and happy for me.

Q: Why do you think you were voted onto court?
A: I think I was voted onto court because a lot of my friends voted for me.

Q: What would you like to say to your peers for voting for you?
A: I would like to say thanks for voting for me and I hope they have as much fun during homecoming as I do!

Q: What do you plan to wear to the homecoming pep assembly?
A: I’m not sure what I’m going to wear yet.

Q: What are your plans for the day of homecoming?
A: I think I am going to dinner and taking pictures the day of homecoming.

Q: What part of spirit week do you like best: spirit days, pep assembly, game, getting ready/pictures, or dance? Explain why!
A: The best part of spirit week is the football game, since the other stuff doesn’t peak my interest as much as football does.

Q: What’s your favorite song to dance to?
A: I don’t dance often, so whatever is playing is fine.

Q: Do you have a date? If so, who is the lucky guy/girl? If not, are you going with a group?
A: I do have a date — Erika Bradlee – who also happens to be on homecoming court.

Q: What’s your best homecoming (or other dance) memory?
A: This is my first homecoming dance, and I do not remember much of middle school dances.

Q: What’s the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in front of a crowd?
A: The most embarrassing thing that has happened to me in front of a group was when I was giving a presentation in LA in 8th grade and I choked and could not say any of the words I had written down. I stuttered on every word for about three minutes.

A: I play soccer for the school

A: I felt happy
