Winning the 2025 MTV’s Best Music Video Award, 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards, Video of the Year for “Brighter Days Ahead,” and more, Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” album is nothing short of a musical masterpiece. As shown by these various awards and achievements, the album was a hit and beloved by fans worldwide. Excitement stirred as rumors about a supposed long-overdue tour by Grande spread through social media. Finally, on August 28, 2025, Grande revealed in a cryptic video that she was announcing her 2026 United States and Europe tour, with 36 tour dates.
To gather more information and a snapshot of public opinion, we met with Rylie Tigue, self-proclaimed biggest Ariana Grande fan. Tigue graciously offered her insight and view of the response to the tour. Tigue’s been listening to Ariana Grande since 2013, when her first album, Yours Truly, debuted. She revealed to us that tickets to the tour went on presale on September 9th, 2025, and general sale began on the 10th. When asked if she had purchased tickets for the tour, Tigue informed us that she had not been fortunate enough to get them. She elaborated that others who hadn’t either took to social media to express their grievances. News came out that some lucky ticket buyers had gotten them and were going to multiple nights or multiple locations. When asked how she felt about this, Tigue humorously called them “greedy.” She and many others on social media expressed how they were devastated, but hopeful of the possibility that other shows may be added. We asked Tigue what albums or specific songs she was hoping to see on the setlist, where she said, “The ones that stick out would probably be anything off of ‘Positions’, my favorite album from her, and one I would love to see would be ‘Sweetener’ and ‘God is a Woman’.” Grande’s fans on social media also noted they would like to see some of her older music in the setlist along with Eternal Sunshine tunes, as an ode to her more loyal fans and those who have been listening to her for years, like Tigue herself.
So if you’d like to test your luck with Ticketmaster or attempt some secondhand sites, Ariana Grande tickets could be in your future. Tigue described seeing some on social media who have posted images of their own battles with ticket-selling sites, showing “nosebleed” seats being sold for upwards of $1.3 million. These prices are just more of an indication of how long-awaited this tour has been for fans and how beloved an artist Grande truly is. Rylie Tigue concluded by memorably stating, “I do hope that those who got tickets are true fans and have the most amazing and unforgettable experience.”
