Rochester High School students are walking through dark hallways this Friday the 13th.
For the past two days, RHS has been facing issues with power outages. Contrary to the rumors, these issues are not due to water damage from recent storms, but rather internal electrical problems within the building.
The Administrative team has been working strenuously for the past 48 hour in an attempt to fix these issues.
“The hardest part has been working on such little sleep” Vice Principal Mr. Wescott said.
Students have been very cooperative with all the inconveniences, including the cold sandwiches served for lunch and the electric company has been very helpful in installing generators and dealing with this problem as it occurs, Wescott said.
